How to turn off the minimized window at the icon on the Taskbar Windows 7

When you hover your mouse on the application icon in the Taskbar, the minimized window will appear as Taskbar Thumbnail Previews. This minimized window will show the contents of the open interface and help quickly exchange open windows. However, sometimes Taskbar Thumbnail Previews can be corrupted or you want to turn them off so as not to affect the work. There is an option available on Windows to enable or disable Taskbar Thumbnail Previews according to your needs.

How to turn off the window of minimizing the Taskbar icon Windows 7

Step 1:

Right-click My Computer and select Properties at the bottom of the list.

Step 2:

Switch to the new interface and click on the Advanced system settings management group on the left of the interface.

Display the System Properties dialog box, select the Advanced tab and then click the Settings button.

Step 3:

Go to the Performance Optipons dialog box at the Visual Effects tab and look down below to uncheck the box at Enable desktop composition . Click Apply and then click OK to save the changes.

When returning to the computer screen and hovering over the application icon in the Taskbar will not display the minimized window as before.

In case you want to re-display Taskbar Thumbnail Previews on Windows 7, the way is similar. With Windows 10, there is no option to turn off the Taskbar Thumbnail Previews interface on your computer, but you can only adjust the time to display the minimized window when clicking the application icon on the Taskbar.
