How to install iOS 12 Public Beta on iPhone or iPad

Recently, Apple has released the first version of iOS 12 public beta. Previously, you had to pay 99 dollars to join the Apple Developer program and get the beta. Now, you can get the beta version of iOS, macOS and tvOS for free. The network administrator has shown you how to join the Apple Beta program and today this tutorial will show you how to install iOS 12 public beta on your iPhone or iPad.

Note: Remember that this operating system is still in beta stage and you should only install it, if you have a backup device or you are an experienced user. With all preview software or beta software, things can go wrong and often it's always the same. Do not install these beta on your regular phone or tablet, unless you are willing to accept the possibility of encountering errors with it. Also, be sure to back up your device before installing, using iTunes or third-party software. Here, the article is showing how to install iOS 12 on the iPad, but if you want to put it on an iPhone or iPod touch compatible, the process is relatively similar.

Install iOS 12 Public Beta

After you have set up the Apple Beta program and backed up your iPhone / iPad device, you will need to register your device. To do that from your iPhone or iPad, visit beta.apple.com/profile and log in with your Apple ID. Then click " Download Profile " and " Allow " when you notice the website trying to open the Settings section is displayed.

Next, click the Install button, agree to the terms and require a restart.

After the computer has restarted, you are ready to receive the update. Go to Settings> General> Software Update, then click Download and Install , then agree to the terms. After that, the update process is the same as any other iOS upgrade you've made before. It will take a while to install the upgrade and your device will reboot a few times.

After installation, you will need to go through some initial setup steps like creating a password and introducing some new features in iOS 12. When you navigate through those steps, you will be taken to the screen. Main and you're ready to start using iOS 12 on your phone or tablet. The Apple Beta program has new versions of iOS 12, tvOS 12 and macOS Mojave. However, Apple's new watchOS beta still has no public program. It is only for developers.
