How to Increase Microphone Volume on Android

Open the Play Store on your Android device. You'll find and tap the icon in the Apps menu to open the Play Store.

 

Tap the search bar. The search bar is labeled Google Play at the top of the screen. Your device's keyboard appears at the bottom of the screen.

 

Type Microphone Amplifierin the search bar.

The search function is case-insensitive, so you don't need to capitalize the app name.

 

Tap the search button on your keyboard. It looks like a magnifying glass in the lower right corner of your screen. This will bring up a list of matching search results.

If you are using a custom keyboard, you may need to press the ↵ Enteror key ⏎ Returnat this step.

 

Tap the Microphone Amplifier app icon in the search results list. It has an orange icon with a black robot, microphone, and speaker inside. Tapping the icon will open the app details page.

 

Tap the green INSTALL button. It 's located below the app name on the right side of the screen. A new pop-up window will open, asking you to allow the app to access your device's files, media, and microphone.

 

Tap the ACCEPT button in the confirmation prompt. This will allow the Microphone Amplifier app to access your files, media, and microphone. Once you allow access, the app will download and install to your Android device.

 

Tap the OPEN button . Once the installation is complete, a green OPEN button will appear instead of the INSTALL button . This will exit the Play Store interface and take you to the Microphone Amplifier app interface.

Using the amplification function

Tap the Enter Amplifier button . This will open the gain settings for your microphone.

 

Slide the Audio Gain bar to the right. This will boost the microphone volume according to the gain you choose.

Increasing the volume too much can reduce the sound quality. You should only choose a gain level between 15 and 25.

 

Tap the power button icon in the lower left corner. This will enable and apply a power boost to your device's microphone. You can now make calls or record with the microphone volume increased.

 

Tap the power button icon again to turn off the amplifier mode. You can open and close the Microphone Amplifier app at any time.
