Google Translate can translate from images of 13 languages ​​to Vietnamese

VentureBeat said that since the beginning of the week, the Google Translate translation application has been able to translate images of 13 new languages ​​using the phone camera.

In 2015, Google added the image translation feature to the Translate app, which supports 27 languages.This feature allows users to translate text on images such as menus and street signs right in real time, greatly helping users.

Newly added languages ​​are Bangali, Thai, Punjabi, Vietnamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Nepali, Tamil, Telugu and Malyalam, bringing the total number of languages ​​supporting this feature up to 50.

Users open this feature on the Translate app by selecting the camera icon on the main screen.Then you just need to bring the camera towards the image containing the text you want to translate.Google Translate scans text with machine learning technology called Neural Machine Translation (NMT) and translates it into the language you choose.
