+ Or download a separate fix for Windows Xp as 'Restarting Windows XP' in the following way:
- Go to http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
- Click Personalize Windows Update under Other Options.

2. Windows Media Player 10 cannot watch DVD

Status : DVD drives and other hardware devices show no signs of damage, but Windows Media Player 10 (WMP) still can't watch DVDs.

Diagnosis: There are many reasons why Windows Media Player cannot watch DVD, first try to uninstall WMP 10 and during the reinstallation process, please select the entire component of the program to fix it. ok If you still cannot fix it, you must turn on the DMA (Direct Memory Access) feature. DMA helps you transfer data from the system memory to hardware devices without the need for a CPU, some software requires you to turn this feature on.

Solution : Follow the instructions below to fix:
+ Click Start / Settings / Control Panel and then click System. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Hardware tab and click the Device Manager tab.
+ Double click on IDE ATA / ATAPI controllers.
+ Right click on Primary IDE Channel, then select Properties. Here you select the Advanced Settings tab, in Transfer Mode, click DMA if available.
+ Under Device 1, in Transfer Mode, you click again on the DMA box if available.
+ Click OK.

+ At the Monitor tab, under the Monitor Settings box, select the lower Refresh Rate.

3. You cannot read the file on CD / DVD after you replace your old CD-R / CD-RW drive with a new CD / DVD drive

Status : In some cases, after you replace your CD-R or CD-RW drive with a CD / DVD drive, the drive cannot access the data on the used CD / DVD. Use in that replacement drive.

Diagnosis : This situation occurs because your computer has not updated the new drive information in a timely manner when the character assigned to the old drive (eg G: drive, for example) is also assigned to the medium drive. be replaced this. Therefore, the Registry information on the old drive still exists and causes Windows to try to receive the new drive as a copyable drive.

Solution : Follow the instructions below to fix:
+ Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
+ Here, you double-click on the System item (Alternative: Right-click the My Computer icon on the Desktop and select Properties).
+ Immediately, the System Properties dialog box appears. Select the Hardware tab and then select Device Manager.
+ In the directory tree on the left, select DVD / CD-ROM.
+ Next, right-click your drive name and select Uninstall.
+ After finishing the removal of the old driver, go to the Action menu and select Scan for hardware changes.
+ The system will automatically update information about your new drive. If that fails, go to the manufacturer's official website to download the new driver for yourself.
