Chrome is about to have tab preview, and this is how to experience it first
According to Softpedia, Chrome browser will be adding tab preview feature when users point their mouse over the tab in the future. In fact, this feature has been available on other browsers such as Firefox, Opera, Microsoft Edge.
The tab preview feature when users point the mouse on the tab will help users know what the content is in each tab, making it easier to browse a large number of tabs at once.
Google has not yet revealed when it will officially launch this feature on Chrome. However, the user can now experience it first by following the instructions below.
Step 1: Visit the link below to download the latest version of Google Chrome Canary. To check the latest version, click on the menu on Chrome -> select Help -> select About Chrome (About Google Chrome).
Step 2: Access the address chrome: // flags to turn on the tool to manage the test features.
Step 3: Type in the search box for two Tab Hover Cards and Tab Hover Card Images or you can access it quickly by copying and pasting the following two lines of code into a tool.
- chrome: // flags / # tab-hover-card
- chrome: // flags / # tab-hover-card-images
Step 4: At these two commands, click Default. Then in both Tab Hover Cards and Hover Card Images, click the Enabled button.
Note:
