Windows 7 overcomes XP to become the most popular OS
According to statistic data from Internet survey firm StatCounter , Windows 7 has surpassed XP to become the most popular operating system worldwide.
Windows 7 has a 40.21% market share in the desktop operating system market, compared with 38.64% for Windows XP. Following are Windows Vista, Mac OS X and Linux respectively.
