The main interface of the application is entirely in Vietnamese so very easy and convenient to use.
Press the '+' button from the application interface to start the timer to automatically send messages, email or make a virtual call .
For example, here you need to schedule the application to automatically send a happy birthday message tomorrow, click on the '+' icon and select 'Messaging' from the dialog box that appears.
In the next interface, you enter the phone number of the recipient (you can select multiple recipients from the phonebook at the same time), enter the text of the message to send, then select the time the message will be sent. You can select 'Customize' to set the appropriate time and date for sending messages.
Finally, click the checkmark in the upper right corner to save the settings. At this point, a dialog box will appear asking you to give the application permission to send the message at the scheduled time. Here, click the 'OK' button then select 'Allow' from the dialog box that appears.
Note: the steps to authorize a messaging application only need to be done once.
The list of pending messages will be displayed in the 'Pending' tab on the main interface of the application. Sent messages will appear in the 'Done' tab. When the message is sent, the application will also notify the user known.
In case you want to cancel a scheduled message, click the 3-dot icon at the message in the waiting list, then select 'Delete' to cancel this message.
You should try scheduling sending a draft message to ensure the application works well before deciding to schedule an appointment to send birthday messages or other important messages.
Schedule a virtual call to your smartphone
Do It Later also comes with a pretty useful feature that allows you to make virtual calls to your smartphone. This is essentially a virtual phone call created by the application, but to outsiders will be like having someone calling you.
The feature will be necessary in case you need to get rid of a certain situation, such as a boring meeting or want to withdraw from a party . you can set a timer for Do It Later to create a meeting. Make a virtual call, like someone is calling and you can get an excuse to withdraw after pretending to hear this virtual call.
To do this, click the '+' sign on the main interface of Do It Later, then select 'Virtual calls' from the menu that appears.
Next, you enter the name and phone number of the caller to display on the virtual call interface. You can enter any name and phone number, it is not required to be accurate information because this is just a virtual call made by the application, not a real call.
Select the time period for virtual calls to be made and click the tick in the upper right corner to save the settings.
A dialog box appears asking for permission so the application can make virtual calls, click the 'Ok' button, then select 'Grant permission' at the interface that appears afterwards. This authorization process only needs to be done once.
By the time you set up, a call will appear on your smartphone, with the same call and alarm interface as the existing setting on the smartphone, so outsiders will not be able to know that. is essentially a virtual call created.
You can pretend to hear this call for some reason to free yourself from an unexpected situation.
