One thing that makes Notion the top note-taking app is the variety of text formatting options it offers. There are several colors in the edit panel, helping you to categorize different types of information to work more efficiently.

Notion offers two text styling options: you can change the text color or the background color. Applying a color is as simple as typing the ampersand (/) to access a list of commands, then entering the color of your choice. The second option is to change the background color.

To maximize work efficiency, you can colorize specifically to represent different types of information on the notes page. For example, you can use a color to represent information that is uncertain or needs to be reviewed later. Another example is using a bold background color to mark tasks. This way, you can find information faster.

This action will automatically take you to the new page. Here, you can give it a title and start typing information.

To return to the original page, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + [ or use the navigation bar at the top of the editing window.
