Monitor Internet data usage on Windows 10
While using Internet data on a PC is not as popular as a mobile phone, it doesn't mean you don't need to care about it. You need to make sure you only use data for the tasks you need and don't let Windows waste it.
In fact, Windows 10 has a lot of tasks that waste your bandwidth. You can see the amount of data that Windows has used with the built-in measuring tool in Windows but cannot delete wasted data. Below, we will show you how to reset the data usage record in Windows 10.

First, you need to open Settings and access Network & Internet . Click the Data Usage tab on the left to see the amount of data you have used in the last 30 days, including wired and wireless networks. You can click View usage details to see exactly how much data each application uses. If the packet is reset on a specific date of each month, deleting it will help you see more about the remaining capacity.
Of course, you can manually delete data records via Safe Mode, but here, we will use a much simpler way - using the Reset Data Usage utility. You just need to install it from the homepage and when you open the utility, you will see the Reset Data Usage button. Click it and all your data usage records will be reset to zero.
