Latest Skype feature will make programmers interested
Microsoft has just added a cool new feature to the Skype chat application, which is the ability to edit code. The company added a code editor that allows users to program right away in real time, while still making video calls with others.
This code editor supports 7 programming languages: C, C ++, C #, Java, JavaScript, Python and Ruby . It is also capable of syntax highlighting for all these languages and is available for real-time execution.
Microsoft has promoted this new feature to the interviewers when they need to check the candidate's programming capabilities as soon as they are making Skype calls. However, users can use this feature in their own way, such as writing a simple program directly with colleagues or friends.

Currently, the code editor in Skype is not yet available on the desktop version. Users can only use the web version when using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser.
Skype recently just started testing new modern desktop applications for Windows and Mac, built on web technologies like Electron. So the real-time code editor will probably be added to the new desktop application in the future.
