Instructions to turn off Facebook Story comments
In the recent update, Facebook has the option to edit comments on Stories, turn off Facebook Story comments if you want. When you turn off comments, the comment box will no longer appear in the Story for others to comment. This new feature is very similar to the feature to turn off Instagram Story comments. Below are instructions to turn off Facebook Story comments.
How to turn off all Facebook Story comments
Step 1:
Open the Facebook app, then tap on the Story post section to adjust. Then tap on the gear icon in the upper right corner to change.
Step 2:
Now you will see the custom interface for posting Stories on Facebook, we will turn off the Comments setting to turn off all Facebook Story comments when we post to our account.
So all videos or images posted on Facebook Story have comments disabled.
How to turn off optional Facebook Story comments
Step 1:
We click on the Story we posted and then click on the 3 dots icon at the top. Now click on Turn comments off for this story to turn off Story comments.
Step 2:
A message appears asking if you are sure you want to turn off comments for this Facebook Story, tap Turn Off to turn it off.
