Step 1: Go to the website https://twitter.com/ and log in to the twitter account you want to delete.

Step 2: On the twitter home page, select the avatar icon on the top right and select Settings and privacy (Settings and privacy) .

Step 3: In the menu on the left you select Account (Account) .

Step 4: In the Account section, scroll down to the bottom and select Deactivate your account .

Step 5: Next, select Disable (Deactivate) .

Step 6: A dialog box confirms you enter your Twitter account password and select Disable account (Deactivate account) .

So the twitter account has been deleted, but within 30 days if you do not log into your Twitter account, the Twitter account will be permanently deleted.

And if you change your mind you do not want to delete your Twitter account, then within 30 days of performing the account disabled you just need to log in to Twitter.
