How to turn on the front audio port of the computer on Windows 10
To turn on the sound in front of Windows 10, you need to connect the necessary jacks such as cables from the mainboard to the front jacks of the case and pre-connect the speaker cable and headphones to the front audio jack of case.
Step 1: Click on the Realtek HD Audio Manager icon (1) . After the software appears, click on Connector settings (2) .
Step 2: Remove the Disable front panel jack detection option as shown below. Then click OK to save.
Step 3: At this time, you will see the audio jack icon in the Front Panel will light up. Next, click on the audio jack icon (1) in Front Panel => select Headphone device (2) if you are plugging in headphones or Rear Speaker Out if you are plugging in to external speakers. Then click OK (3) to confirm the audio device in use.
Step 4: Click the Sound icon (1) in the system tray and click the arrow (2) to display more.
Then choose Speaker (2 - High Definition Audio Device) to select the front audio port.
