How to turn off Hold Assist notification on iPhone
iOS 26 introduces Hold Assist, an AI feature that puts your iPhone on hold for calls and notifies you when someone picks up. The feature is activated while you're listening to music on hold, automatically silencing the other end of the line until someone answers the call. If you don't want to use this feature, or don't want to see the Hold Assist notification anymore, follow the instructions below to turn it off.
