Step 3: Next, click New in the upper right corner and then select ftp .

Step 4: In the server section, enter the IP address of your Mac.

View your Mac's IP address with the command ' ifconfig | grep inet | grep 192 '

Enter the username and password exactly as you would when logging into your Mac. Then click OK.

The new server will be added to ES File Explorer. Simply select this folder to access data on your Mac from your Android device and share that data between the two devices.
