Step 1:
First, the recipient of the file needs to turn on AirDrop and set the visibility to " Everyone for 10 Minutes" .
Next, the sender taps on the image, video, or file, selects send, then selects AirDrop , and taps on the person they are connected with .
Step 2:
The recipient will then see a "Use AirDrop Code" message on the screen and select "Get AirDrop Code" to receive the 6-character code.
Step 3:
The sender enters a 6-character code to proceed with the data transfer via AirDrop, along with a verification code.
After this one-time verification with the code, you won't need to verify again with the code for the next 30 days when sharing files with this person. They just need to click Accept.
Step 4:
The people you've shared data with via AirDrop are also saved. Open the Contacts app on your iPhone, then tap the arrow icon and select Other Known .
Step 5:
Click on the person you want to remove from this list, then select Forget This Person to do so.
