How to prevent Google Maps from automatically playing videos.
Step 1:
Open the Google Maps app and then tap your profile picture . Next, tap Settings to open the app's settings.
Step 2:
In the new interface, tap on Video Settings to make changes. The auto-play video feature is always enabled in the Google Maps app.
Step 3:
You can choose to only enable autoplay on Google Maps when your phone is connected to WiFi to avoid consuming mobile data. Or, if you don't like this feature, you can turn it off completely.
