Google Maps displays user generated videos on the map
Google has just added a new video-related feature to its map application. Now, when searching for a place, users can also find videos of places where you often see user-posted images.
Currently, only Local Guides - designated users who contribute photos, reviews and information about restaurants, parks, museums and other locations - on Android devices can upload videos to locations . But perhaps this will soon become an option for many others, such as businesses that want to promote their products.
Videos will be added to the search location on Google Maps
Despite being quietly released since the end of August, the feature of this video was released publicly and last week.
In the near future, when searching for a beach location, you will see videos of the beach, fish market or surrounding locations on the left, near where the static images are displayed.
Both photos and videos of the beach will appear
