Resolving Multiple Albums

Search the album in iTunes. (it should come up as two separate albums in iTunes.) -
Select Ctrl+A (Cmd on Mac)to select the entire album. -
Do right click and select get info. (a message will pop up asking "are you sure you want to change info for multiple items.") -
Click yes and you'll be redirected to the info screen. -
You should see a slot for "artist",and "album artist." -
Make sure that the album artist field is not blank and that it does not say "Mixed" (if it is blank, or says "Mixed", iTunes will show them as separate albums because they have different artists.) -
Download the newest iPod/iPhone software (iOS 8.1.2)if this steps will not help. This is compatible with the 5th gen iPod Touch as well as the iPhone 4s-6 plus as well as the iPad 2,3,4 the iPad air and finally the iPad mini 1 and 2. Also, you should download the newest version of iTunes. (you can download from apple's website on the iTunes + iPod support page or in iTunes itself.)
