How to downgrade iOS 14, iPadOS 14 to iOS 13
Not everyone finds iOS 14 or iPadOS 14 right for themselves. Some people find the App Library a little redundant, others find the performance and battery life on older devices like the iPhone 6s significantly reduced. Anyway, this is also the first version of the latest apple home software, surely the following updates will be much more stable.
If you feel it is wrong to update to iOS 14, don't panic, you still have time to go back to iOS 13 or iPadOS 13. But only for a period of time, when Apple hasn't locked the older software versions. . Requirements:
- Back up everything using iTunes, Finder, or iCloud.
- Download the latest iOS 13.7 / iPadOS 13.7 IPSW file and save it outside the screen.
- Have a Lightning or USB-C cable available.
- Download the latest version of iTunes running on PC, for Mac users must use Finder to downgrade.
- Turn off Find My iPhone by going to Settings> Find My> Find My iPhone .
Instructions for downgrading iOS 14 to iOS 13
Step 1 : Connect your iPhone or iPad to your PC or Mac using a Lightning or USB-C cable.
Step 2 : Open iTunes or Finder .
Step 3 : Click on the little iPhone icon on the left corner of iTunes. For Mac users, select the device from the left sidebar in Finder.
Step 4 : Click on Restore iPhone / iPad while holding down Option (on Mac) or Shift (on Windows) .
Step 5 : Select iOS 13.7 / iPadOS 13.7 IPSW file .
Step 6 : Let iTunes or Finder extract and restore that version on your device. This may take some time so make sure there are no breaks.
When the restore is complete, you can either reset the device as new or restore the backed up data using iTunes, Finder, or iCloud. If you intend to resell this device, do nothing after step 6.
