How to delete location history on Windows 11

One of the best things about Windows 11 is that you can use it as a mobile platform. For example, you can install and use the Android application, use the Windows Maps application. Step 3: Click Location in the right sidebar.

Step 4: Search for location history option Location history.

Step 5: Click the Clear button to clear the location history.

First, you need to open Settings on your computer. To do this, you need to press the Win + I key combination. Next, go to the Privacy & security tab.

Here, you search for the Location menu. Click on it and then find the Location history option. You will see a Clear button and you can simply tap it to clear the location history.

How to delete location history on Windows 11 using the Windows Maps application

To delete location history on Windows 11 with the Windows Maps application, follow these steps:

Step 1: Press Win + S or Win + Q to open the Windows 11 search window.

Step 2: Enter Maps in the search box.

Step 3: Tap the Maps app on the search results.

Step 4: Click on the ellipsis menu icon and then select Settings.

Step 5: Search for the Permissions section.

Step 6: Click the Delete history button.

Note: If you do not have the Windows Maps application, you can visit the Microsoft Store to download it. You can also prevent Maps from saving what you search by turning the Remember what I search for option from On to Off.

How to turn off location services on Windows 11

You can disable Windows 11's Location Services as well using Settings. You press Win + I to open Settings then go to Privacy & security > Location. Here you will find Location Services option. Use the switch to turn location services on or off on your computer.

How to change location on Windows 11

On Windows 11, you can set and change the default location using Settings and the Windows Maps app. You repeat the operation of pressing Win + I to open Settings then go to Privacy & security > Location. Next, click the Set default button and then select a location on the Windows Maps application to set it as the default.
