How to decode Stupid Ransomware variants
To decode a Stupid Ransomware variant, you can download StupidDecryptor here.
After downloading, just double click on the executable file to start decoding and you will be greeted by the main screen.
Now, click the Select Directory button and select the drive you want to decrypt, such as the C: drive. When the user has selected a drive, the Decrypt button will be available.
Next, click the Decrypt button to start decrypting the selected folder. After clicking Decrypt button , the program will decrypt all encrypted files and display the decoding status in the window.
When the process finishes, the decryption tool will display a summary report of the number of decoded files. If some files are ignored, it may be because those files are configured with special permissions.
