How to insert an image under text in PowerPoint 2016, 2019

Step 1:

First, you write the content in your PowerPoint slide as usual. Then we proceed with editing the text and changing the text formatting.

Step 2:

Click on Insert, then select Picture to load an image from your computer, or click Online Pictures to search for images online if you prefer.

Step 3:

Move the image to the text area, then right-click on the image , select Send to Back , and then click Send Backward .

Step 4:

The result is that you will see the image inserted under the text in the slide as shown. Users can adjust the image format and add image effects if needed through the Format tab .

Step 5:

Next, users can adjust the text displayed on the image to make it more suitable, adjust the color to highlight the text, and adjust the size and length of the text so that it fits neatly within the image.

How to insert an image under text in PowerPoint 2007, 2010

Step 1:

First, click on the Insert tab , then select Picture to insert an image into PowerPoint.

Step 2:

Select the image you want to insert into your content and then click Insert. The image will be inserted into your PowerPoint content as shown below. All the text will be placed below the image.

Step 3:

To change the image's position, right-click on the image and select "Send to Back ". There will be two different options: "Send to Back" and "Send Backward".

To move the image to be placed under the text, select "Send to Back ". The text will be inserted over the image as shown below. This is also a way to add an image over text, in case you have already written the content in PowerPoint.

After repositioning the image below the text, we can still customize the text formatting, such as color, font, font size, etc. Highlight the text, right-click, and select the desired content from the customization dialog box.

A very simple trick for adjusting inserted images in PowerPoint allows you to change the position of the image relative to the text content in the slide. The text, once inserted over the image, can be formatted as desired by the user.
