Flashcards are becoming one of the most popular modern learning tools among teachers and students thanks to their ability to quickly memorize information, their visual appeal, and their ease of application in all subjects. With the support of Canva AI, creating flashcards is now much simpler, even for teachers who are not yet proficient in design. Simply input the topic or lesson content, and Canva AI can automatically suggest layouts, colors, illustrative icons, and present the content in a lively and professional style.

Specifically, flashcards on Canva AI are not only suitable for reviewing knowledge but also effectively support learning games, quick quizzes at the beginning of class, group study, or self-study at home. Below is a step-by-step guide to creating flashcards on Canva AI.

How to create flashcards in Canva AI

Step 1:

On the Canva interface, click the three-dot icon , then select "Apps" from the displayed list.

Next, in the search bar, type the keyword "flashcard" and press Enter.

Then you will see the AI ​​flashcard creation app on Canva ; click on the app to start using it.

Step 2:

At this point, you will be asked whether you want to use the AI ​​Flashcard Maker app with a new design or an existing design; select the option that suits you best.

Step 3:

Switching to the flashcard creation interface, we will have two options : creating flashcards with images or creating flashcards with text.

Each type of flashcard created using the AI ​​Flashcard Maker app will be different, requiring you to set it up and create it accordingly.

Please note that you only have 1 credit point to create a memory card; once your credit points are used up, you will need to upgrade your account.

After you have finished setting everything up, click Create to generate the memo cards with the topic and number of cards you have chosen.

Step 4:

Wait a moment and you'll see the flashcard created in Canva AI. Click Add to design to create the memo card and you're done.

The number of flashcards that can be created on AI Flashcard Maker is very limited because it requires credit points, so it may not fully meet your needs.
