Genshin Impact: All chest locations in the Nostoi Region

In Genshin Impact, the land of Nostoi is the starting point of the quest "Canticles of Harmony". You can get here by teleporting to the Teleport Point that the developers have placed in the northwest Petrichor island area.

Although the Nostoi region seems small at first glance, it contains countless secrets waiting for players to discover in addition to the world quest storyline. Throughout their exploration of the Nostoi region, players will encounter a variety of new challenges with quests and treasure chests, each offering unique challenges and rewards in Genshin Impact. Below are the chest locations in the Petrichor Island area for you to search, including some chests that will require you to complete a quest to receive the chest.

Petrichor Island Treasure Chest Location in Genshin Impact

Players can locate 26 chests in the Nostoi region, which are scattered around the Petrichor and Faded Castle areas in Genshin Impact. Petrichor is home to nine treasure chests, while the Fading Castle has 17 chests to collect.

Teleport to the Teleport Point northwest of Petrichor Island and head east to find the first treasure chest in the Nostoi Area. Kill the Hilichurls around the Premium Chest and proceed to collect it.

From the previous location, swim to a small island to the East and start the challenge on the North side of the island. Collect 22 Water Elementals within 90 seconds to complete the challenge, climb to the top of the mountain, collect a Water Elemental, and receive the Premium Chest in Genshin Impact.

Wind gatherer flies from the top of the mountain to the northeast to reach the location of the third High Chest in Petrichor. This treasure chest is guarded by three unclean Water Dharmas. Defeat them to unlock them and collect rewards.

To the south of the Faded Theater Sanctuary, players can find a Genshin Impact Premium Chest. This treasure chest can also be collected in the "Song of Harmony" world quest.

From the previous location, go east to the island's shore, then move the nearest Water Touch Crystal near the ocean water.

Next, wet all three Crystals at once with the help of Genshin Impact's Water character or a nearby Miraculous Primordial Organ.

A little tip for you is that you should use characters like Fischl and Scaramouche, they can help players overcome this challenge more easily, because some Water Elementals are floating above the water.

To get the next item, fast teleport to the Teleport Point in Petrichor and head south to trigger the challenge on the small island. Collect 26 Water Elements within 120 seconds to receive a Premium Chest.

North of the Petrichor bell tower, players will find a Normal Chest. This chest will be located on the balcony side of the house, so use a Wind element character in Genshin Impact like Kazuha, Scaramouche or Jean so you can fly to its location faster.

From the previous location of chest number 7, fly towards the east house and climb it. At the top of the house, players will find a Weird Chest.

To get the next chest in Petrichor, enter the cave behind the previous house and solve the Pneumousia Relay puzzle in this area. After solving the puzzle, you will receive a Premium Chest.

The first Normal Chest of the Faded Castle is on the bottom floor, on a wooden crate. This chest is easy to miss because it is the same color as the wooden crates.

From the previous location, go up the East stairs leading to the Exhibition Hall and follow the trail of "Ancient Books" to reveal a Super Chest in Genshin Impact. After collecting the chest's rewards, collect the "Ancient Book" for later use.

Head towards the Exhibition Hall Teleport Point and defeat the Stone Dog in the next area to get the next Premium Chest in the Faded Castle.

Return to the Mystery Bookshelf Challenge located on the lower level of the Faded Castle, and place the "Ancient Books" collected earlier in the bookshelf. Next, hold down "The Power of Ancient Symphony" and go inside to collect a Super Chest. However, this treasure chest is guarded, so the player must defeat hidden enemies before receiving the reward.

Now, go up the stairs to the upper level and collect the next chest in the Fading Castle. This Super Chest can be found behind another Mysterious Bookshelf Challenge in Genshin Impact, but this time it's easier because the required "Ancient Book" is located nearby.

Teleport to the Faded Castle South Teleport Point: Middle Floor and take the southern passage. Along the way, you will encounter an enemy guarding a Super Chest.

Also near the 6th chest location, continue down the same path to find a Weird Chest behind another Mystery Bookshelf Challenge in Genshin Impact.

Go up the stairs inside the Bookshelf to find more Jelly Dogs. Defeat them and you will see a Super Chest.

The Library of the Fading Castle has three other Mysterious Bookshelf Challenges in Genshin Impact.
Complete the mission by searching for their "Lost Ancient Books", to collect two Premium Chests, a Super Chest and the "Lost Songs (I and II)" music pages.

Activate the challenge south of the North Teleport Point in Fading Castle: Middle Floor, then collect 15 Water Elementals within 60 seconds to receive a Super Chest.

Go up the stairs next to the previous challenge to reach the Fading Castle: Upper Level. When you arrive, you will have to pass the Mystery Bookshelf challenge to enter. Once solved, defeat the enemies hidden inside and collect a Weird Chest.

Glide down from the Fading Castle: Upper Floor to the Middle Floor to collect another Excellent Chest in the location shown below.

Hidden behind a Mystery Bookshelf Challenge is a Super Chest. Solve the challenge by finding its "Missing Ancient Book", floating near the stairs, and placing it in the bookshelf to get the treasure chest.

Here, you must complete three performances in the "Surprise Stage" section at the Faded Castle: Lower Floor to receive valuable items. What you can get includes a Super Chest, Rare Chest, and a Tuba Mirum music score.

The Final Treasure Chest in the Fading Castle is hidden beneath the water and can only be unlocked by playing the correct notes for each Harmonic Pipe.

What chests in Genshin Impact open?

Just in such an area you can earn quite a few chests and open up Adventure Exp, primeval stones, some amount of Mora, random weapons, holy relics and more.
