How to build a 'Free but still strong' squad in Genshin Impact

A few tips for building a strong team but don't lose any money. Very suitable for those who do not want to recharge still have the best Genshin Impact playing experience.

If you hit level 20 before the 1.1 update, there are a lot of lineup choices. As I said in the last roster build post that the first 5-star champion you summon determines how your squad should build.

But to summon 5 stars is really not easy at all, so this article will give some suggestions about a 4-star lineup that is still quite strong without spending money to summon 5 stars (or Reroll). The squad below I use completely relies on Free To Play and also meets the need to participate in end-game activities in the future.

Use available materials to summon

Basically this will be a complete lineup of 4-star champions, so it's pretty easy to build and upgrade. You might get lucky and summon a 5-star character (After 80 ~ 90 times) at the Venti event spin, but to save the Gemstone as much as possible, this would be the right formation.

The saving I say here means you will still have to spend the amount of Nguyen Thach earned from the game to summon, but in the most economical way. The summoning will help you get more characters to open the Palace and have more weapons to equip, not necessarily a 4-star or 5-star weapon, maybe a 3-star weapon is still useful.

Currently, Nguyen Thach can earn you through a lot of game activities and can also receive it for free by mail or giftcode without having to spend too much time participating in the event or plowing.

Barbara

The first is Barbara, this girl is an extremely useful Support in this squad. Barbara has the ability to keep your team alive during battles and can also combine with multiple formations.

As long as you reach level 20, you can own Barbara, who is also in Venti's Banner, along with Fischl and Xiangling, extremely easy to find. It only took 1-2 days when I leveled up to level 20 (That's exactly when I did this article) and also when I tested the roster with activities in the 20 ~ 30 level stage.

The Heal from Show, Start (E) is based on Barbara's maximum HP and can x4 heal if the hit hits. Although the cooldown is quite long, the duration of the effect (Lv1) is 15 seconds, the exact cooldown will be only 15 seconds.

You can equip Barbara's Dragon Slaying Story along with the Magic Relic (Early Game) set that focuses on max HP and HP, over stage 30 can be changed to Adorable Young Women set to Get more health when healing.

XiangLing

Although XiangLing is a bit harder to find than Barbara when you have to pass 3rd Floor, Room 3 of Luo Shamen, it's not natural that XiangLing is called the National Waifu. She 'eats the world' is a diverse choice and can hold two positions, which can be DPS or also an effect Support if needed.

The large amount of damage coming from Guoba, along with the medium cooldown combined with Dragon's Calamity, will give the flaming bear 20% more damage.

Fischl

The guilty princess will be a very important piece in this lineup. Fischl can only be earned through summoning, but Fischl is classified as Tier S because of his elemental reload ability with Night Bird's Wings and can adjust position if desired.

Fischl's cooldowns are quite short despite being a Lightning-type character that gives her great support when accompanied by other lightning-type DPS with fast elemental charging for both.

If you want to build Fischl in the direction of damage support, then 2 items from the Silver Set will give Fischl 20% more cooldown to spam Oz more often, along with 2 items from Fury Like Thunder will increase damage by 15% by Oz.

If you want to have the ability to recharge faster, the Exile set will be the right choice for the team elemental mana regeneration after using Fury.

DPS

DPS here I will not only identify because the 3 options above will be required for this lineup, but DPS you can choose according to the situation or the number of characters you own.

You can choose Razor to combine with Fischl more effectively because Razor's elemental charge is extremely good. If you want to use safety then Beidou like me will be the easier choice.

Choosing a Lightning-type DPs will activate Powerful Lightning Element Resonance and also take advantage of XiangLing's Fiery Magic Magic Set (if used). In the current lineup I use, Beidou's set will be Vo Nhan because the 15% bonus damage and 25% damage after using elemental skills is very suitable for Beidou's set of moves.

Regarding weapons you can equip Beidou Stop the Water of Lightning if there is no Sword of Li Essence. Beidou's downside is slow attack, but in return she is resistant to the effect when activating Lightning and the ability to block damage from Catching Wave will help Beidou solo boss easily, but with the Time Attack screen, she will die.
