Format, format USB properly
Copying and moving data using USB is very convenient, but when the USB is full, you need to reformat it to continue using it. However, have you done it correctly?
Instructions for formatting USB properly
Step 1 : Right click on My computer → Manage
Step 2 : In the Computer Management window, select Disk Management.
Step 3 : Right click on your USB → Format.
Step 4 : Select Yes.
Step 5 : In the window that appears:
- Enter a name for the USB in the Volume label field .
- Select the format to format in the File system section.
- Tick Perform a quick format if you want to format quickly. Otherwise, uncheck this item.
- Select OK.
Step 6 : Windows will ask if you want to back up your data before formatting. Select OK to continue.
