Fix some common Wi-Fi issues on Android devices
Many Android phone users often encounter problems related to Wi-Fi connection of the device. This is really a nuisance when you can't connect to the Internet for personal or business needs while Wi-Fi networks are available around you. The most obvious reason for this is that you have not enabled the Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep option . This setting will automatically disconnect the Wi-FI connection to save battery power.

- Go to the Settings menu.
- Select Wi-Fi , press the three dots at the bottom of the screen or Configure cog.
- Click Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep .
- Select Yes / Always to enjoy seamless connection.
However, when you enable this option, your battery capacity will be shortened. If you are using an intermediate battery saver application, check if the application is controlling Wi-Fi and other wireless services and configure it accordingly.

3. Repeated acquisition of IP addresses
This may be due to an error on the Android OS. Many people have encountered the same error and it is really annoying when the problem is not fixed even after the device has been restarted.

- Device receives IP address
- Disconnect

4. Wi-Fi does not work
One advice for those looking for technology solutions is to never ignore the simplest measure. People often look for complex solutions but if Wifi doesn't work, a simple measure is to "turn it off and on" again. You should first turn off and re-enable the connection. Open the Quick settings menu by swiping down from the top of the screen and selecting the Wi-Fi icon to turn it off. If you don't see the Wi-Fi icon, go to Settings and disable it from there.
You do the same with your home router: turn it off and wait at least 2 minutes and turn it on again. Another simple solution is to turn on the airplane mode for a few seconds and turn it off, then check the connection again.

5. Wi-Fi is very slow

If you are sure your router is running smoothly, the signal is strong enough, without interference, check your network speed with network testing tools. These tools are accurate and reliable services, and in seconds, you'll see the download and upload speeds, the actual ping of the network, to help you identify the problem.
If you have roots access, you can speed up the connection on your device by editing specific system files that contain TCP / IP configuration.
6. Public Wi-Fi sometimes requires login
Have you ever accessed a public Wi-Fi network but asked to login? Such public networks are similar to McDonald's and Starbuck stores in some countries, they require users to log in and accept terms and conditions before allowing you to connect.
You will be prompted to do this via a notification right after connecting, but it does not always happen. If you have managed to connect to a public Wi-Fi network, but your WhatsApp or another application does not update, try opening Chrome or your favorite browser and you will be redirected to the appropriate login page.
