Check battery life of iPhone XR, XS, 11, 12 when running iOS 17.0.3
iOS 17.0.3 is the latest update released by Apple to solve the overheating problem of the latest iPhone 15 Pro models. However, many iPhone users are curious whether their device (not the iPhone 15) will have an increase in battery life and performance if they update to iOS 17.0.3.
And recently, Youtube channel iAppleBytes released a video upgrading and performing some battery tests on old iPhone models running iOS 17.0.3.
iAppleBytes uses the Geekbench 6 application for the test on devices including iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13.
Below is a video testing the battery life of iPhone XR, for your iPhone.
Accordingly, the Battery Test score measured through Geekbench 4 of iPhone SE 2020 running on iOS 17.0.3 is 2109 points, higher than 17.0.2 (1984 points). Phone XR reached 3287 points, an increase of nearly 1000 points compared to iOS 17.0.2 (2488 points).
With iPhone 11, battery life is also improved when running iOS 17.0.3 with a score of 3353, up from 3255 points on iOS 17.0.2. iPhone 12 and 13 also had a slight increase after updating to iOS 17.0.3.
The above results show that Apple has indeed optimized the battery in this iOS 17.0.3 update.
