Asus launched the Eee PC 900 new version

Yesterday (April 16), manufacturer Asus officially launched the latest version of the Eee PC 900 ultraportable notebook. The launch was held in Hong Kong.

Asus Eee PC 900 version has overcome some disadvantages in the old version. Specifically, the display increased from 7-inch to 8.9-inch, filling up the free space on the previous screen border that belonged to the built-in speakers.

Asus launched the Eee PC 900 new version Picture 1 The touchpad in the new version of the Asus Eee PC900 is larger than the old version and has the same ability to support multi-effects as on the MacBook Air. In addition, the new Eee PC 900 is also equipped with an integrated digital camera with a resolution of 0.3-1.3-megapixel.

In terms of processing power, the new Eee PC 900 version is the same as the old version: 900MHz Celeron M microprocessor chip, 1GB of RAM, 12GB SSD drive (if Windows is used) and 20GB (if using Linux) . This release of Eee PC has not yet supported WiMAX.

It is expected that the new Eee PC 900 will be officially released on May 1, priced at 512 USD.
