Age of Empires Mobile officially launches on iOS and Android

Microsoft Corporation has just brought great news to those who love the game Age of Empires when they are about to release a mobile version of the popular game on the two most popular platforms today, iOS. (Apple) and Android (Google).

Microsoft is about to re-launch plans to launch a mobile version of the popular RTS game series Age of Empires. Today, sources have officially confirmed that Age of Empires Mobile will launch on October 17 for iOS and Android devices.

In a post on the official Age of Empires Mobile website, Microsoft summarized the main highlights of the game as follows:

  1. Multiple game modes build on the familiar Age of Empires experience and feature iconic elements from the original series.
  2. Build your empire in a vivid, authentic medieval world filled with stunning civilizations, imperial cities, and historical figures.
  3. Immersive battlefields offer unique gameplay with large-scale sieges and multidimensional defenses in battles with thousands of players worldwide.
  4. Develop development strategies based on terrain and weather. Interact and manage troops with real-time micro-control capabilities.

The main developer of Age of Empires Mobile is Timi Studios. In previous comments about the game, Timi said there will be support for 1v1 battles, along with some new experiences that are not available in the AoE versions on PC or Xbox.

You can pre-register for Age of Empires Mobile now on the game's website, and download it as soon as the game is available. You'll also get some additional in-game resources and items when you pre-register.

2024 will be a big year for the Age of Empires series. In just a few weeks, the side game Age of Mythology will have a major remake called Age of Mythology: Retold for PC via Steam and Xbox platforms. The game will officially release on September 4. It will also be a Day One release for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
