How to Craft and Use the Monster Magnet in Blox Fruits

Learn where to unlock the Monster Magnet recipe, every material required, how to craft the prerequisite accessories, and how the item summons an Anchored Terrorshark.

Table of Contents

The Monster Magnet is a craftable Mythical material used to attract an Anchored Terrorshark in Blox Fruits. You cannot buy it from a normal shop: first unlock its recipe through the Shark Hunter at Tiki Outpost in the Third Sea, then provide the required sea-event materials.

Do not confuse the Monster Magnet with Magnet Fruit. The Monster Magnet is a single-use inventory material tied to the Anchored Terrorshark and Shark Anchor; it is not a fruit or a combat moveset.

1. Find the Shark Hunter at Tiki Outpost

Travel to Tiki Outpost in the Third Sea. The Shark Hunter is inside a room along the docks, near the island's boat-related NPCs. Speak to the Shark Hunter to view the available crafting options.

2. Craft the two prerequisite accessories

The Monster Magnet recipe remains locked until you have crafted both the Shark Tooth Necklace and Terror Jaw. Their recipes require the following materials:

AccessoryIngredients
Shark Tooth Necklace 1 Mutant Tooth and 5 Shark Teeth
Terror Jaw 1 Terror Eyes, 2 Mutant Teeth, 10 Fool's Gold, and 5 Shark Teeth

Crafting these accessories unlocks the next recipe; the accessories themselves are not listed as ingredients consumed by the Monster Magnet recipe.

3. Gather the Monster Magnet materials

  • 2 Terror Eyes: Obtain them from Terrorsharks during Third Sea exploration.
  • 8 Electric Wings: Obtain them from Piranhas.
  • 20 Fool's Gold: Earn it from sea-based ship events such as Ship Raids and their variants.
  • 10 Shark Teeth: Obtain them by defeating Sharks.

Drop availability can be affected by the sea event, danger level, and game updates. Check the item counter in the Shark Hunter's crafting interface before farming more than you need.

4. Craft the Monster Magnet

Return to the Shark Hunter after collecting all four materials. Select the Monster Magnet recipe and confirm the craft. Check your inventory before leaving Tiki Outpost; the material has a limited carrying capacity, so an existing one may prevent another craft.

How to use the Monster Magnet

  1. Keep the Monster Magnet in your inventory; you do not need to equip it as a weapon.
  2. Sail through a Third Sea area where sea events can occur.
  3. Continue until the message says the Monster Magnet has attracted an irregular beast.
  4. Prepare immediately for the Anchored Terrorshark encounter.
  5. Defeat the Anchored Terrorshark to obtain the Shark Anchor.

The Magnet is consumed when it attracts the special Terrorshark. If several players in a group carry one, the person whose Magnet triggers the encounter is the one tied to that spawn and its Shark Anchor reward. Coordinate before sailing so the intended player carries and activates the item.

Troubleshooting

  • The recipe is missing: Confirm that you crafted both prerequisite accessories through the Shark Hunter, then reopen the dialogue.
  • The craft is unavailable: Recount every material and check whether you already hold the maximum number of Monster Magnets.
  • No Anchored Terrorshark appears: Keep the item in your inventory and continue sailing in a valid Third Sea danger area. The encounter is not necessarily immediate.
  • You are playing with a group: Decide who should receive the Shark Anchor before everyone brings a Monster Magnet.
  • The game behaves differently: Rejoin once and check current in-game descriptions or update notes, because Blox Fruits can change requirements and event behavior.
