What is the difference between Android phone and its own?

A mission of Rubin is to create a connected operating system called the Ambient OS, capable of connecting phones and many other devices. The ambient OS has not been clearly explained but will probably focus on indoor devices, using Essential Home smart speakers to connect with devices using Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant. It is currently unclear whether it runs its own application.
