'Father of Android' revealed the second Essential Phone for those who like long but not big

The screen is very narrow and stretches from the top down, similar to the external screen of the Galaxy Fold.

Andy Rubin, the founder of Android, now the chief executive of Essential, recently revealed his Essential Phone 2 phone is part of its GEM sticker on Twitter. Accordingly, this new product has a very different design with a long, slim shape that is suitable for those who like long dislike to.

Like the Essential Phone (PH-1), the glass back of the device has a glossy finish but richer colors with 4 versions: blue, green, orange and purple. When viewed at different angles the glass back of the device will have different colors. However, compared to Android smartphones from China, the glass back with such design is nothing new.

A special feature of the 2nd Essential Phone is its style and screen. The screen is very narrow and stretches from the top down, similar to the external screen of the Galaxy Fold.

The user interface is also designed in the form and large buttons to fit the screen ratio.

This interesting phone will mainly use virtual assistants to control the device and get the job done because it is difficult to control touch on a small, narrow screen. The fingerprint sensor on the back of the device will help identify when users use the device to activate the virtual assistant in advance, ready to wait for their voice commands.

According to leaked information, this second Essential Phone runs a mid-range Snapdragon 730 chip and a back-facing camera. The official name of the device has not been revealed, but many people think that it will be GEM or Essential Phone GEM.
