On Windows Computers:

Windows 10:

  1. Open "Settings".
  2. Select "Network & Internet".
  3. Select "Ethernet" or "Wi-Fi," depending on the connection you're using.
  4. Click the connection name.
  5. Scroll down and select "Change adapter options".
  6. Right-click the connection you are using and select "Properties".
  7. Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)".
  8. Enter the IP address of the DNS server in the "Preferred DNS server" and "Alternate DNS server" boxes.

Windows 7:

  1. Open "Control Panel".
  2. Select "Network and Sharing Center".
  3. Click "Change adapter settings".
  4. Right-click the connection you are using and select "Properties".
  5. Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)".
  6. Enter the IP address of the DNS server in the "Preferred DNS server" and "Alternate DNS server" boxes.

On macOS

  1. Open "System Preferences".
  2. Select "Network".
  3. Select the connection you are using.
  4. Click the "Advanced" button.
  5. Switch to the "DNS" tab.
  6. Click the "+" icon to add the DNS server IP address.
