The HP Photosmart wireless e-All-in-One printer will connect wirelessly
sold in July 2010 for $ 99.
Vyomesh Joshi, Executive Vice President of HP's Printing and Imaging Group, said: ' Users always want to easily print their documents from anywhere, anytime. We are realizing this by allowing them to print from any web-connected device such as a smartphone, netbook ., to any HP printer. With HP ePrint technology, if you can send e-mail, you can print ".
The HP ePrint platform, exploited from cloud computing, breaks down barriers to distance and connectivity, allowing people to send files they want to print from their mobile device. For example, a person on the train can send documents from the Palm Pre smartphone or BlackBerry to print, and he or she can get a printout after entering the office, or a girl can share a great moment Amazing holiday for your mom or friends by sending her postcards through this service.
Each HP printer connected to the web will have a unique e-mail address, allowing the sender of the print job like they send a normal e-mail. Users can also send documents to print via the HP ePrint mobile application on their smartphone device to a printer located at home, office or public print service. Content formats include optional daily news, popular entertainment sites, personal calendars and more. These applications can be viewed on the huge TouchSmart screen of the e-All-in-One printer series.
HP is working with a team of developers to refine the beta software development toolkit, and add hundreds of print applications later this year. Developers can request this toolkit from developers in the HP ePrintCenter service. This is an online service for all HP customers, used to discover new services and their print job options. For example, users can register products and receive on-demand updates, configure their devices, track commands on ePrint, search for and recommend new print applications .
