Private chat feature on Skype launched for all users
The feature, also known as Private Conversations, encrypts end-to-end messages.
Skype finds a niche with businesses, but the opponent of this chat application like WhatsApp, Telegram or even Facebook Messenger has an important advantage: security of conversations.
All of the three applications mentioned above have end-to-end message encryption, making them a great option for those who need to exchange sensitive content or private information. But Skype still lacks .
In fact, Skype has been testing message encryption since January but only for a small number of users.According to MSPoweruser, this feature has just been released to all users.
This feature does not automatically display but also as Facebook's Secret Conversation, Skype's end-to-end encryption feature requires users to manually turn on each message. To start chatting with a contact in Skype contacts, select New Private Conversation. When the participant confirms, all messages on both sides will be protected.
Skype messages will now be protected as well
Note that this feature can only be used on one device at a time. For example, you cannot view messages on your phone when you previously enabled this feature on your PC.
