Instructions to turn off notifications, hide chat groups Skype

To make it easier to contact more people on Skype, we will often create chat groups. However, by default when we create a chat group, there will be a voice message if there is a message. Sometimes this notice will affect the work you are doing. So how can I turn off notifications on Skype chat group? If you exit the group, you will not receive any messages on that group anymore. The only way is to hide the chat group to turn off Skype notifications.

Step 1:

At the interface on Skype, we will click on the chat group name to turn off notifications . Here, you right-click on the group name and select View profile .

Step 2:

In the Group Profile window, look at the interface to the right of the Conversation notifications section, and we will leave the box in Notify me when something new happens .

If there is an incoming message, Skype will not appear as before. We only see the number of new messages until we click the Recent tab.

Step 3:

If you want to hide this chat group on Skype, in the left sidebar, right-click and select Hide Conversation .

To show the hidden chat groups again , click the View menu above and then select Show Hidden Conversations,

So, we turned off the notification mode for Skype chat group. You will not receive any notifications when there are messages in the group, unless you click Recent. In addition, we can also hide or show chat groups on Skype with extremely simple operation.
