Microsoft re-released the Outlook 2007 update
Nearly a month after removing the Outlook 2007 update due to connectivity and performance issues, Microsoft has released a patch to correct its mistake in December 2010.

On Tuesday, January 11, 2011, Microsoft re-released the Outlook 2007 update, saying it has solved problems with connecting to mail servers, slow folders and automatic storage - Problems. The problem has emerged almost immediately after the initial fix was provided to users on December 14, 2010.
Just two days later, Microsoft removed this update from their Windows Update patch service and apologized for the mistake.
In an article posted on Office's blog, Microsoft advised users to download the redeemed update via Windows Update, or by manually downloading a new version from the Microsoft website.
Some users said that the new patch solved their problems.
