Many Gmail users get spam - from themselves
Google said it is fixing this problem.
Google Gmail has done a great job in spam filtering, but Mashable recently reported that many users discovered in their inbox many ads sent from their own email addresses.
Users post to Gmail's Help Forum help forum and say that messages are sent from their accounts, while they have used 2-factor authentication and password updates. But this spam email mimics the title to look as if it was sent from a user, through a Canadian telecommunications company called Telus, to go through the spam filter.

The Google representative said that this was 'a spam campaign affecting a small number of Gmail users' and the company was 'making preventive measures'. Telus also said that mail didn't go through their servers and they were working to solve the problem.
