LG will provide the screen for iPhone 6

According to a recent report, LG succeeded in defeating Samsung, Sharp, and Japan Display to become a screen supplier for the iPhone 6.

Earlier, Apple had a dispatch that showed a move away from Samsung, Sharp and only offered opportunities for three other major firms: LG, Japan Display and Innolux . However, reports from Feng.com and LG Display recently showed that the final winner is LG.

In fact, to cope with the recent increase in the screen size of Android phones in recent times, Apple has also expected to increase the screen size of the next iPhone generation with 2 versions: 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches.

There is still no detailed information on the number of specific screens that LG will provide to Apple. Analysts predict Apple will produce 80 million iPhones 6 later this year.
