The Opera 55 Beta released last week allows users to install Chrome add-ons directly from Google's Web Store to Opera's browser without using any other support.Previously, users had to install a support utility called Install Chrome Extensions released by Opera users to install Chrome's utility on this browser.

With Opera 55 Beta, Opera developer has also kept the promise that they said since 2013 that it will stop using the proprietary engine that switches to Chromium, an open source browser project.At that time they also promised to support compatibility with Chrome utilities and after more than 5 years of work, now that has come true.

Chrome incompatible gadgets posted on Opera Add-ons will still work normally on Opera.Opera 55 Beta will be converted to Stable in the next 1 or 2 months.After installing these utilities, they will be in Opera Extensions section right next to Opera's original add-ons.

Opera 55 Beta also has an additional icon that mimics Chrome's new installation page.In addition, when you click on the blue lock icon, you will also see a popup with SSL certificate information, cookies and some settings for each specific page.This feature is also newly added to Chrome.
