Instructions to check privacy on WhatsApp
WhatsApp has added an account privacy checker for you to set up better privacy and security for WhatsApp.
The feature is also quite similar to the privacy checker tool on Facebook. Then you can easily check the privacy of your WhatsApp account for each specific item. The following article will guide you to use the privacy checker tool on WhatsApp.
How to check privacy on WhatsApp
Step 1:
At the WhatsApp account interface, we click on the Settings item , then you click on Privacy to adjust. Now you will see the privacy checker, click Start testing .
Step 2:
You will now see privacy sections for you to check each content and adjust to your liking. We will click on each item to check and reset.
- Choose who can contact you.
- Take control of your personal information.
- Enhance your chat privacy.
- Enhanced protection for your account.
Step 3:
In the section Choose who can contact you , we click on each content to adjust accordingly.
Step 4:
In the section Control your personal information , we also click on each item to change the privacy settings to suit each person.
Step 5:
In the section Enhance privacy for your chat, we continue to adjust privacy.
Step 6:
Finally in the section Strengthening protection for your account , we will set up the WhatsApp lock feature with fingerprint or FaceID and proceed with 2-step verification for WhatsApp.
