Install Android Oreo now
The latest version of the Android operating system has been revealed. However, at present, only a few devices get the update soon, the rest will have to wait a while, even high-end devices like Galaxy S8 will have to wait patiently every month.
If you are using devices like Nexus or Pixel, you can put the Oreo version on your phone right away without unlocking the boot program (bootloader) or doing something complicated.
At this point, you can install Oreo for the following devices:
- Pixel
- Pixel XL
- Pixel C
- Nexus 6P
- Nexus 5X
- Nexus Player

First, open the Android Beta page and log in to your Google account if prompted. You will see the website explaining the beta program. Click Enroll device under Your eligible devices near the bottom of the page. After a few minutes, you will see an update message on your phone indicating that Android Oreo will be downloaded.
Note that you may be offered the first beta version. If the message mentions Android O instead of Oreo, don't install it. That's not the final version of Oreo - wait for the stable version and install it because the beta usually contains many bugs and you'll have to back up the data before installing it.
You may have to wait about one to two days to receive the Android Oreo installation. In the absence of this means your device is not supported to upgrade to this version. Please register for the beta program so that when an update is available, you will be notified of the upgrade.
