Family Sharing on iPhone is a feature that allows family members to share all purchased or downloaded apps with each other. This helps us save costs and members can enjoy the content in the family group. And in case any member does not want to participate in Family Sharing anymore, the cancellation process is also very simple. Here are instructions to unsubscribe from Family Sharing on iPhone.
Instructions to unsubscribe from Family Sharing iPhone
Step 1:
At the interface on your iPhone, go to Settings and then click on the Family Sharing group that you join .
Step 2:
Switch to the management interface of members participating in the Family Sharing group, including you. We click on our Apple ID account name in the group to adjust it again.
Step 3:
Shows the interface with some adjustments to your account in this Family Sharing group. We will click Stop Using Family Sharing to cancel joining the Family Sharing group on iPhone. You will then be asked again if you are sure you want to opt out of Family Sharing.
If you are sure to cancel, click Stop Using Family Sharing to stop participating .
Note, we cannot create a Family Sharing group if we are a member of another Family Sharing group. So you have to exit the Family Sharing group that you join and then proceed to create a new Family Sharing group as needed.
