How to Uninstall QuickTime on Windows
Method 1 of 3:
Windows 10
- Right-click the Start button (bottom left corner of the screen) to open the WinX menu. Alternatively, hit the Windows key + X.
- Locate and click "Apps and Features". You can also just hit "F" while the WinX menu is open.
- Scroll down or search for QuickTime.
- Select QuickTime and hit uninstall.
- Confirm the selection. It should only take about 10 seconds to uninstall.
Method 2 of 3:
Windows Vista or Windows 7
- Click the Start button, click Control Panel, and click the Uninstall a program link (grouped under the Programs category). (If you are in Classic View, simply click Programs and Features.)
- Scroll down until you see QuickTime.
- Click on Uninstall or Remove.
- Click the Yes button, and then click OK after a while.
- Close Control Panel.
Method 3 of 3:
Windows XP
- Click the Start button, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
- Scroll down until you see QuickTime.
- Click QuickTime, click the Remove button, and then click Yes.
- Click OK, and close the Add or Remove Programs window. You can also re-download it from Apple.com.
