How to Turn Off or Show the Preview URL Link on Skype: Skype Tips

The preview image for the website link sent in the Skype chat will look like the image below.

Step 1:

First of all we access personal Skype accounts. At the main interface, click on Tools and then press Options. Or users can press Ctrl +, to access.

Step 2:

In the Skype Options installation window, click IM & SMS (Instant Messaging & SMS) and then select IM appearance (Quick messaging).

Step 3:

If you look to the right of the interface, you will see a lot of options for messages on Skype, so we will leave Show link previews available to turn off the preview of the Website Preview URL on Skype. Click Save to save the changes to the software.
