How to turn off AI images on Pinterest

Pinterest is an image discovery search engine, and recently Pinterest has been suggesting more AI images to give users more choices. However, not everyone wants to use AI images, and the constant display of AI images on Pinterest can be annoying. If so, you can use AI image filters on Pinterest, such as GenAI interests, to reduce or eliminate AI-generated content suggestions on Pinterest.

 

Instructions on how to turn off AI images on Pinterest on your phone.

Step 1:

Open the Pinterest app on your phone, then tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner, and then tap the three dots in the top right corner.

 

Below you will see the options; tap Settings to adjust them, then tap Refine Your Recommendations to customize the suggestions within the app.

Step 2:

At this point, you will see the interface for customizing suggested content on Pinterest. Click on the "GenAI Interest" option at the top and turn off all the options below to prevent AI images from appearing on Pinterest.

 

How to turn off AI images on Pinterest on a computer.

Step 1:

Open the Pinterest website and log in to your account. Then click the dropdown arrow in the upper right corner and select Settings .

Step 2:

On the next screen, click on Refine Your Recommendations and then select GenAI Interest .

Then we just turn off all content that displays AI images, and we're done.

You will no longer see AI-generated images on Pinterest. However, you can still enable AI images for specific categories if you wish.
