How to test the video card for errors if not equal to Furmark when buying an old, new vga card

VGA, also known as video card, is an indispensable item for gamers or graphic artists. Because VGA is an item that is not so important compared to other devices, we often choose to buy old VGA to save costs. But how to check the old VGA for standard? Please see the article below!

To check the old video card, we will use Furmark software to full-load the GPU (running at maximum capacity of the video card) to check whether the screen is black or blinking when downloading the heavy graphics task or game play or not.

Step 1: After downloading and installing, you open Furmark up. Here, we pay attention to the GPU benchmarks section in the picture because this is the setting for us to test the video card by running full-load and giving the score so we can compare. We should start testing from 720p HD resolution first by clicking on the Preset option : 720 .

Warning about the possibility of damage to the video card or power, you can ignore this warning and accept by clicking GO to continue!

Step 2: The software will run from 0% -> 100% to check the overall performance of your video card.

Step 3: After testing the software will give the score and performance evaluation in the red highlighted area. In this article, I tested the performance of Nvidia GTX 960 video card with two options, preset 720 and 1080 preset and the scores were 4143 and 2556. After the results, you can go to Google to compare. Furmark scores against other devices to gauge your overall VGA performance
